Kitchen Fire Leaves Residue Throughout Home

When a kitchen fire created soot throughout an entire home, the owners called SERVPRO in to help with the restoration and clean up process. Our technicians used a chemical dry sponge to determine soot in rooms. We removed burnt flooring and cabinets along with burnt appliances from the kitchen. The countertops had to be removed due to fire damage as well. We deodorized the house using a hot thermal fogger and we also used a HEPA vacuum to help filter and pick up the soot. We cleaned walls, ceilings, doors, and windows as well. The homeowners were more than happy with the work SERVPRO of Roanoke Rapids had done.
