Ice Maker Line Causes Water Damage in Home

SERVPRO of Roanoke Rapids was called to a job in Macon, NC due to severe water damage. Our techs responded to this loss and found that an ice maker line broke off at the floor and ran for an extended amount of time. The whole main level of the house was affected as well as the crawlspace. Technicians removed all affected materials, cleaned, and placed drying equipment. It took four days to complete the drying processes. The entire kitchen had to be redone, from cabinets to baseboards to trim. Due to the extent of the water damage we had to apply a plant-based anti-microbial agent to the floor.
