Broken pipe cause damage to kitchen

When a pipe broke in this homeowner’s kitchen, saturating the kitchen, part of the family room and the crawlspace, they knew they needed to call SERVPRO of Roanoke Rapids. There was standing water in the home for almost 20 days before they called SERVPRO for help! You can see in the before picture that the flooring is warped from prolonged water damage. Our technicians had to remove two layers of flooring in order to dry the sub floor. The after picture is of the dry sub flooring, of course this is before the mitigation process took place.
